Roland GP-100 Patch Editor
Quick Start
- Download the program files to a directory of your choice.
- Connect your GP-100 MIDI IN and OUT connectors to your computer's MIDI interface.
- Set the MIDI OUT/THRU option in the GP-100's Utility menu to MIDI OUT.
- Run the program; select the proper MIDI channel and ports from the program's main menu.
- Download or Upload patches using the dialogs prompted from the "down and up arrow" icons in the toolbar.
- Double-click to select a patch to edit. Or, click the "check icon" in the toolbar to select a highlighted patch without expanding the tree that shows the patch's effect order and on/off status. Selecting a patch will also change your GP-100 to the same patch number if the GP-100 Synch check box is selected.
- Double-click an effect in the tree to toggle it off and on. Drag an effect in the tree to change its position within the patch (it will currently move only one position at a time--this limitation will change in a future update).
- Save and Open patch files to and from a computer using the File menu.
